For courses and seminars in the culinary competence center
1. General Regulations
For all cooking courses, trainings and seminars offered by Corporate Food Catering GmbH („CFC GmbH“) and in the Culinary Competence Center, Europaallee 6, 67657 Kaiserslautern, the following conditions apply.
Content and scale of the services offered to the participants are based on the description of the respective event.
The enrollment of a participant by himself or a third party is binding and will be processed in order of receipt. Registrations can be submitted in written form (by post, fax or e-mail) or via the registration form of the relevant event on the homepage. After registration, we promptly send a confirmation of the registration, which closes the contract between us and the participant or the purchaser (in the case of the registration of the participant by a third party).
In events where the number of participants is limited, we have the right to put applications received after reaching the capacity limit on a waiting list. Vacant places are allocated according to the order of receipt of application.
4. Registration fee
The participation fee for the participant as well as in the case of a corresponding application in cooking classes for the dinner companion, results from our confirmation and includes VAT at the statutory rate. The confirmation states that the registration fee is to be transferred to the designated account. Only after receipt of the registration fee your place is reserved for you.
Cancellation is generally possible free of charge by the course participants up to 7 days before the date of the event. Cancellation must be in writing (by post, fax or e-mail). In case of late cancellation or no use of the booked event, the registration fee must be paid in full. Participation fees that have already been paid will not be refunded. Instead of a cancellation you may of course, after appropriate notice, let someone else take your place.
6. Cancellation of events
We reserve the right to cancel events and to reschedule for reasons out of our power. A notification of the cancellation or rescheduling will be sent to registered participants immediately. Participation fees that have already been paid entitle participants to take part in the newly scheduled event. In case an event cannot be rescheduled or the new date does not suit the participant, we will on request refund the already paid participation fees. Other claims of any kind against us because of the cancellation of events are explicitly excluded.
7. Indication duty
The respective participants of an event are required to report any known allergies, physical disabilities, diseases and the like before the event.
Participation in our events in the Culinary Competence Center are at your own risk. The risk of damage to garments and other property of the participants are at your own risk. The participant waives any claims against us, our employees or other agents, all compensation claims that may arise in connection with the event and access to the relevant premises of the culinary center and its facilities will be at your own risk, unless the harmful event was initiated by us or one of our staff members was due to gross negligence or intent.
9. Compensation for damages
Damage caused by a participant during the event on the premises and / or the existing objects there will have to be reimbursed completely.
Should any provision of these Terms and Conditions be or become invalid, the validity of the remaining provisions shall not be affected. Instead of the invalid regulation, a provision shall apply that comes as close as possible to the economic purpose of the invalid provision.
